Stuart and Ann Harmes
Stuart and I began competing in agility some 12 years ago and it is fair to say, between us we have been extremely fortunate to own some very talented dogs who have brought us a good deal of success.
Ann
My first dog mostly Moss began agility training as a wayward pet. Being very fast. erratic and hard to control! With a lot of help and determination, Moss took me from Elementary to Advanced winning numerous competitions including the NCDL starters Title in 1995 and also the Coveted Crufts Singles title in 1998.
My second dog was the immensely talented Noggin the Nog: who again leapt into advanced status in his first year: and also took the Beta Novice title after only a few months of competition! He also qualified for Olympia with Stuart and competed in the final (coming a close second) before his second birthday. |
After the arrival of our daughter Nia six years ago, I took a back seat from competing and Stuart took up the gauntlet with the Awesome Noggin! I have since returned to competition with my young dog mouse who although not an easy dog. Shows promise for the future.
My association with CSJ began some four years ago and I now run the very successful and thriving CSJ agility Network comprising of some 18 stockists and
coordinating the sponsorship within our sport.
Stuart

Stuart has taken his two dogs: Noggin The Nog and Trelogan Trim (a rescue dog) ... to the very top of the sport: and is now set to take up the gauntlet with Nogs son binka!
Trim (now retired at the age of 13) has been to every major final several times over! He has won 100’s of agility classes and during his hey day would beat the best! He demonstrates an amazing bond and unique partnership with Stuart, which took them to the very top.
Winning several Olympia Semi Finals, He has come 3 rd in his first appearance in the Crufts Singles final at the age of 2 3rd in the Pedigree Olympia stakes Grand Final at the age of 11! Also achieving a 3 rd place in the International event at Olympia .
Noggin won the semi final to qualify and was runner up at the prestigious Olympia Agility Stakes in his very first season: also winning the speed Jumping title in the same year. He holds the Crufts Singles Agility title 2000..Following on from his late stable mate Moss and is four times Winner of the coveted Crufts Knock Out title...and has come 3 rd in the International competition at Crufts. . To mention just a few!
Noggin also won the International KO title during its final year at Olympia , putting in a breathtaking performance!
Stuart now has a new dog who is Noggins son Binka. Stuart and binka again demonstrate and incredible partnership and he looks to be following in his fathers' footstep after winning the CSJ Novice title2004 ...a promising young dog for the future!
