See their awesome run here
What a wonderful achievement!
Congratulations to you both!
March 2008
David and Dobby are now Agility Champions!
after winning the ticket at Crufts no less...
Dave has just won the ticket class (champ) at DIN with his young dog Dobby, who is only two and a half years old and has only been eligible for ‘champ’ for a few weeks – amazing!
No less amazing are Dave’s other achievements...
How it started
Dave got involved in agility through his local dog obedience club and now owns 5 dogs – four Border Collies and one Springer Spaniel.
The most memorable success?
The most memorable successes which spring to Dave’s mind are winning the bronze medal with Billy in 2005, and the FCI World Championships.
Other successes:
- Reached agility champion status with Billy
- Come 2nd in the Crufts singles and in the championship class at Crufts
- Qualified for Olympia every year for the last 5 years
- Qualified Dobby for advanced status at only two and a half years old
- Qualified Dobby for Crufts
Tuition
When time allows Dave also does some one-to-one training, plus training days and will travel to people for group lessons, so long as it isn't too far. So if anyone would like any training just get in touch and see if he is available.
Dave will train all levels of dogs and uses very motivational methods for speeding dogs up, tightening turns and teaching dogs to work away from their handlers at speed. He runs fast with his own dogs but doesn’t just train that way, he trains a lot of handlers who have very fast dogs but can't run very fast themselves and has very good results. He has helped people to reach advanced status and others to win out of elementary/starters etc...

“Since my dogs have been on CSJ I have noticed a marked difference in their performance. They have all sped up and have loads of stamina. Their coats are shiny and to top it all off they love the food.” Dave Munnings
